NAQUERA (VALENCIA)
New edition of the European Championship held between June 20th and 23rd, 2024 in Naquera (Valencia). One of the best-attended competitions to date, with 93 entries, although this figure is somewhat misleading as 18 did not compete, leaving us with an average of 75 participants.
As judges, we had two ANCCE top riders: Raúl Galisteo as Judge 1 and Juan Carnero as Judge 2. Marta Duque was in charge of functionality.
The entire competition was clearly dominated by Yeguada Batán, which materialized their ring appearances with trophies: 5 gold, 1 silver, and 1 bronze.
As for the special awards, the young horses category went to Tempranero Zavi from Yeguada Zavi ESP, the adult mares to Primavera Bat II from Yeguada Batán, and the adult stallions to Tamboril VI from Alberto Boyá.
In the young champions category, the awards went to Primavera BAT IV for mares and Chulillo CPS for stallions. Among the adults, Primavera BAT II and Primavero BAT, both from Yeguada Batán, took the honors.
Primavero BAT from Y. Batán won the functionality award. Yeguada Batán was named the best breeder and Yeguada Echandi ESP the best exhibitor.
