Today, Ganadería Gornazo has been proclaimed the best at the 24th Torrelavega FECAB Morphology Contest 2024, held this weekend at the National Livestock Market. 65 specimens from 33 farms across the country participated. The Champion of the Contest was Quilate de la Diez, from Yeguada Diez España, and the Champion Mare was Bravía de Vida, from Yeguada Echandi.
The Mayor of Torrelavega, Javier López Estrada, presided over the awards ceremony, accompanied by the Councilor for Fairs and Markets, Cristina García Viña; José María Benito, president of ESPACAN, and other members of this organizing entity; the secretary of the Cantabria Veterinary College; the director of the Livestock Market, Isaac Bolado; members of the Corporation; and representatives of the companies sponsoring the contest.
